Edo begon zijn podiumcarrière bij cabaretgroep Schering en Inslag, waarmee hij in de finales van het Groninger Studentencabaretfestival en het Leids Cabaretfestival stond. In 2008 won hij het Rabo Camuz Kleinkunstfestival en in 2010 het Griffioen Zuidplein Cabaretfestival. Eerder maakte hij deel uit van de tournee van Night of Comedy.
Edo werkte voor 3FM als redacteur en sidekick in de programma’s Buzz en Bring It On. Voor het NCRV internet-magazine Mambapoint.tv hield hij een videolog bij van de tijd die hij in 2008 doorbracht in een kindertehuis in Nepal. Ook filmde hij reportages voor andere hulporganisaties in Nepal.
In 2013, he created the documentary Dictator van de Comedy, on the comedian’s love for anecdotes about horrible comedy gigs.
He was active in theatre education for theatre group DEGASTEN, a multicultural youth theatre company in Amsterdam-West.
